So what your saying is I'm making it too easy for a non drawing hand to fold. I feel like sometimes I am too agressive, probably cutting my winnings when I'm ahead - I just don't want to give a free card on a flop like this.
In a higher stakes game, a better line would be to raise to $2.25 say, enough for TPTK to call but if they are drawing, still making them make a bad call? Then push the turn on a clean card (hopefully a smart player would realize he has a slim chance of hitting with one card to go). I always get confused in this area when its 3 handed.
