Default AK OOP vs. Good LAG

Partys NL$200. Villian here is a tough/good player and 22/7/1.7 over ~5k hands through the $100 and $200. Full table broken down to 6 players right now. He has $210 and I cover.

I'm second to act and I open raise to $7 with AK of diamonds, he calls, button and blinds drop.

Flop is KQ6 rainbow and no diamond

    I bet $13, he calls

Turn is an innocent 2 completing the rainbow

I bet $35 and he raises to $90 which makes me think, but I'm not sure what to think. Most of the hands I have on him are from datamining and he seems pretty good postflop. I'm also curious is a turn check here ever good to control pot size as he bluffs at this around 80% if I check?

Could possibly be KQ, c/c-c/r line is pretty standard with top two isn't it?
