Default all right, let me have it....

Tell me if there is a better line...villain is solid TAG, 21/7/4. If I check river I think he makes a bet I can't call. At least this way I priced my own showdown. He said later he considered 55 as a possibility..

I think this is fine - keep in mind that I've never had quite this situation with stacks this deep.

Only thing I think you can get away with is perhaps a smaller block on the river (pot is ~$150 right? I think you can trim it to $50 or so if not less).

fold to flop 4bet and its not close...this is a limped pot!
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

    I disagree with your disagreement.

Read says he's a SOLID tag. Solid tag's do not 4bet like this with air. His bet amount was one that he knew would get called, ie he has a STRONG hand that he wants value from.

fold to flop fourbet, you can't even really be drawing vs a made str8, since he isn't likely to play a 85 or a 53

Fold to the flop 4-bet, you're rarely good here. This guy is super-weak-sauce.

Don't worry about this one too much, it's a very difficult fold. See Also: Super System.

This is why I raise small pairs pre-flop. Otherwise, it's difficult to get anyone with a brain to give you much action with a worse hand.
