    Default All-in semi-bluff.

Any other ways of playing this? I was actually the favorite in this hand, but I don't really like having to gamble if he actually does call.

I'd have played it same way.
Won some nice pots doing this, but also lost a few too.

But as you said, I don't see what's wrong with it. Seeing as the golden rule is to get your money in when you're favourite to win, isn't this what you did?
    pocket Jacks eh?

    CANT WIN WITH 'EM
    CANT WIN AGAINST 'EM
    CANT FOLD 'EM

I would prefer to push that on a scarier board. You want to add some fold equity to your odds even though the hand can stand on its own. Otherwise, play it like a super strong drawing hand.

For instance if the board came out as ThTdJh, I push 100% of the time.

i play the exact same. you want some fold equity so you push on top of your monster draw.

    good play.

dsaxton, I guess raising for a free card wasn't an option (considering the big flop bet)? Yes you are pushing in as a favorite, but doesn't variance go through the roof when you're only 54% to win?

I don't get it. Pushing the flop doesn't scream JJ or even Tx. Why does did add folding equity?
