I don't really agree that you should always play tight at a high stakes full table. It's completely dependent on how your opponents are playing and how they percieve your play.
If nothing else, you should LAG your way into later action at a reasonably tight table. You have to have some big bowling balls to LAG at higher stakes. I can admit I haven't attempted it higher than 200NL. I'm a scared little kitten at 400NL.
