I think the only hands he might have raised here that didn't include an A are QQ or KK, and I don't think he leads the turn again without it. I really don't think he even bets the turn with a fd... unless he had an AdKd/AdQd. If the turn didn't come a 9 and he didn't bet so small (as in another strong of bet ~$7) I would have folded. I have at most 13 outs, 11 if he has the fd, and 8 if he has AA. This is also assuming a 9/8 is good for me too.
If just for example, I stack him everytime I hit my draw, did I invest too much to win his stack? I have 100 bbs and he covers, and up to the river I invested 26 bbs. There is also 13 bbs of dead money.
