Pretty clear to me that he had a good ace and didn't think you had shit (let alone the j) because you were probably playing your normal, super-aggro style, and it took multiple scary minraises to convince him that he was going to have to beat trips here. The difference between a solid and a weak-tight/tilted player is that, even though he knows you're aggressive, he doesn't just dump it all in with the ace, but raises you multiple times to buy the information. This is exactly the kind of pot that gets huge because of aggressive play -- even if it becomes a big scarier when you are taking money from solid opponents. Nh.
