Is there any read on him? Everyone checked on the flop - if he hit two pair or a set or even TPTK, he would of made a heavy to get rid of the people drawing - not slow playing anything. The aggressive bet on the turn would send off huge warnings signs to me - at which you wonder if a 9 high flush is going to hold up.

I was involved at a B&M game where I saw three people go all in with a flush - 8 high, 10 high and K high - which makes me question if its worth it to play with the low flush, to prevent that.

I guess the other question others will ask is, why raise 34 with 8-9 suited? I mean, personally I love that move, but often you have to think someone may also be playing high suited cards.

ouch! To be honest, I don't think there is a way you can avoid it, unless you only play flushes with Ax. Flush over flush seems to be a rarity when only 3 to a flush hit so I'd just take it on the chin and go for next time. I'd put this in the same category as set vs set. It looks like you have the best and I'd put all my chips in each time.

If I was playing TAG then maybe, but if you are playing LAG your hosed every time...

Bet the flop next time KQ might fold out. I almost ALWAYS bet out my draws.

The reason why you raise with connected suitors with position will become very apparent to you when you hit 200 NL.. trust me on this..

    Erm, fold preflop? :P

I think your stack is going down here. I would've also led out on the flop to build a nice pot if your flush should hit (not knowing it's counterfeited anyway).

The odds of someone having a higher flush are so low, only crazy, CRAZY good players would not lose a stack here.

Spino - good point (probably why I stick to limit - because of my fear to call all-in on a flush only having 8 high)
