Default ATo flops top two on BTN in 8-way pot

Shoving Villain was FATDRUNKNSTUPID running 25/2/1 and I had already stacked him once on a different table when he overbet shoved 99 on KT75 no flush draw and I snapped with KT.

    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (8 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    BB ($124.50)
    UTG ($81.25)
    UTG+1 ($102.35)
    MP1 ($9.85)
    MP2 ($74.10)
    CO ($65.05)
    Hero (Button) ($199)
    SB ($61.60)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A, 10
    UTG calls $1, UTG+1 calls $1, MP1 calls $1, MP2 calls $1, CO calls $1, Hero calls $1, SB calls $0.50, BB checks

    Flop: ($8) 10, 9, A (8 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, MP1 checks, MP2 checks, CO checks, Hero bets $8, 2 folds, UTG raises to $80.25 (All-In), 4 folds, Hero calls $72.25

It could be AA since he limped UTG but he is 25/2. I'm having trouble constructing a range since I know he might just be spite-shoving with junk or maybe even a weak draw. What do you guys think?

I love it when villain's name is indicative of his playing style

My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

haha well at the time I thought it was a much closer spot just because it was a limped family pot and villain was UTG. The other hand was way different though, I guess I should have posted that hand history, but on that hand his play was a semi-legitimate bluff because it didn't look like I had anything. On this hand I think it's fairly obvious that I'm literally never bluffing here and I gave him credit for being somewhat of a thinking player if only because his name seemed like a level.

The main reason that I posted this is that this was from my first session stacking the tables and relying on a HUD. I see the numbers 25/2/1 and I don't really know what to think because I haven't actually seen him play a hand the whole way through and show down. I want to get better at constructing a range based on these numbers so I wanted to see if anyone thought that his range here is like {sets, big draws} but I guess not.

Also, in the past 15K hands or so I've been getting coolered and spewing a lot so when he shoved I thought "here we go again." When I'm losing my natural instinct is to examine my play and this seemed similar to a lot of spots where I think "insta-call" and then blame it on a cooler when Villain turns up a better hand. There have been realizations in my poker life that I thought were revolutionary, interesting, or insightful that tons of players (even bad ones) have thought obvious and that I now think obvious. I wanted to keep an open mind about folding here. Maybe this was too extreme of a hand in that my hand is so strong and Villain is such a monkey, but when I'm putting money in with the worst hand so often it's very unsatisfying to blame it on variance instead of thinking about improving my play.

    So to summarize:

    1. I gave villain credit where none was deserved and got scared by the number of people in the pot.
    2. I wanted to gain some insight into how people use HUD numbers.
    3. I wanted to have an open mind about a spot that I thought was a very clear decision.

Yeah I would on a more weak-passive table but these guys weren't folding ever.

describe why an overbet shove with 99 on a board of KT75 was a 'legitimate play'. I am having difficulty conceiving a circumstance where this play would not be absolutely the worst option possible. I am sure that everyone is having a similar problem and as such it's very hard to take your question seriously.

It was semi-legitimate in the sense that it showed that he was at least thinking about what hands I could have. There's a certain level of donk thinking where you're convinced that your opponent will fold if you push all-in. So if we know that he's thinking about our range, he must be at least okay with a call, so my question is basically what is his value shoving range and how is it affected by the HUD numbers? Do we throw out the numbers when I have the history that I do? Sorry for phrasing it poorly before.
