Big draw line check

Villain is unknown to me. Should I've raised flop or turn?

Considering the deep effective stack size I didn't want to 3-bet the flop, also because a 4-bet would put me in a difficult spot..

The weak turn bet meant s0mething like a test bet of 2p/straight for the flush, so I slowplayed and just called. Stupid move with hindsight, giving a free card to 4,9 or 10 outs

River is probably standard. I assume I should fold easily against a decent reraise?

Ah nice.. flush draw+gutshot, 45% on turn+river, about 1/4 on turn alone, and you need to pay $14 into a $51 pot, 27%, which is only a sprinkle more than your odds to hit on the turn alone. So easy call to his reraise yes.

He is obviously scared of that flush, hence his weak bet on the turn. And he's shafted if he has a high PP, which is unlikely seeing his preflop play.. so probably a pp that hit a set. Which would give him 9 outs to a boat plus 1 out for quads on the river. That's a little over 1/5, so he gets to see it cheap at 1/9 pot. Then again, he'd probably fold to any decent-sized reraise there. So that's a personal choice there.

But I'm guessing this game may be over my head.. because I don't see why a river-reraise is an easy fold. I doubt he'd raise the flop like that with a flush draw, so you should have the winner..

Flop play looks good. I would raise the turn to $40, and then bet about $100 on the river. Ugh, I hate the turn call though. If you get 3-bet on the river, I would fold unless his raise is small.

Yeah raise that turn. If the board pairs or a 4th spade hits the river your hand will either be trash or you won't win a cent more.

Raise the turn while your money is good. That's a really stupid-obvious blocking bet. Make it look like you're trying to blow him off his hand without pricing him out of the pot.

$40-$50 sounds good.

1/2 pot the river make him feel good about calling you down.
