big table 50nl - deep and scared

ok, average stack 140bb
94-35 whale with 200bb - but not completely stupid. Floats, bluffs and stacks others... (edit. Now 300bb deep, after idiot tried to trap with rockets and 92 hit two pairs...)
couple of 12-3 fish with 200bb and 150bb respectively
Hero with 300bb, but I'm a little scared to tangle - example = I had AK with an AK267 board, too scared to push the river after I was re-raised by the whale - 80bb pot. Showed down vs A5s...

Thoughts? should I leave, cos I'm scared money this deep

you need to find ways to avoid spots that you feel uncomfortable with. If you are worried about a draw and you have a strong hand, bet big, but don't be afraid to fold when the draw hits and a big bet faces you.

If you have a strong hand but are not worried about drawing hands, I tend to slow down.

I have found that checking my turns has dramatically decreased the difficulty level on river decisions.

Thanks. This makes sense, another addition to my evolving game.

I stayed at the table until it just got silly - whale donated 300bb to the mix and it all got pretty aggro among the waiting crowd. When I left, average stack was even higher but the targets were less obviousl.

Don't play scared?

Pay a LOT more attention to position and don't get raped with hands that have a lot of "second best" potential.
