Default Can I get a Stat Review???

So here's what I've got so far. Any criticism or help is welcome. FWIW, my PT3 has spazzed out a little and put a few of my 10nl FR hands in 10nl 6max. I have never played 10nl 6max, so the winning (and hands) there should be combined with the 10nl FR stats, which is what I want checked out.

You guys got it rough, I built my roll and took my lumps in a retardedly soft .25/.50 game. You're crushing the game and getting crushed on rake.

Have you considered the PokerStars 1c/2c 6 max game? At some point you will need to learn those lessons and now is a really good time.

Your problems are probably mostly post-flop and learning to mix it up.

17k hands in 16 days. how many tables? someone can correct me if I am wrong but I don't see the point in playing > 4 tables at these stakes while trying to develop the basics of poker. Any one who knows the basics of poker and is multi- tabling heavily should not be at 5/10c for any great length of time. But then I haven't tried moving up myself yet due to cashing out...

Your rake is massive. check online out your site works out rake and look at pokerstars and compare. Full tilt really creams people at our level without rakeback.

    Edit:
Actually when I used to pay a lot of rake I worked it out that I was getting involved in too many pots and loosing. This effectively means you have to win a lot to show profit and pay a lot of rake. Learning to fold more helped me.

He's playing plenty tight. He just needs to learn how to get more value out of his hands by effectivly fighting for jump balls and finding good value bets.

edit: W$WSF looks low to me

There are not a lot of glaring weaknesses in your stats. Keep in mind that stats such as these really only give a good indication on your preflop tendencies.

I disagree with the comment about playing 4 or less tables at a time to develop your game. There is not one way to develop your game. I developed mine through 8 tabling, and other than my passiveness.. I developed fine. lol

Your problem is probably postflop. Not getting out quick enough when behind, not punishing hands when ahead etc. I recommend just posting a lot of hand histories + play a lot of hands. Practice does not make perfect in this game, but it does make for an improved game.

Fnord - I haven't considered 6-max as of yet, because given my tight play now, I figure it would take some time for me to adjust as I would need to for 6max play. Is it something I should really look into now or maybe wait till 25nl or so? And yeah the rake is killer imo.

MuddyWicket - Did you see how many hours I have played in those 16 days? Around 87 hours, which isn't a ton, but a good deal I would guess. Concerning the tables, I played 6 to begin with and had that -6 or so buyin downswing and since I didn't play 2nl or 5nl extensively (moved to 10nl from $5.50 SNGs) I felt it was much more prevelent that my play was bad than it was just variance. So, I did the logical thing and dropped down to 2 tables and focused more on making player based plays, and not acting so much like a robot ("I have TPTK.. It' always good!" ya know?).. It seemed to work, and I started winning again. But I wasn't putting in as many hands as I would have liked so I went back up to 4 and have settled right around there for the time being. I'll add more as soon as I understand postflop play better.

BankItDrew - I am fairly certain that my problems stem from postflop play. And it's generally not getting away from a second best hand when I'm beat. I've learned to effectively valuetown all the calling stations you can find at 10nl. I just pot every street and they think I'm lying so, it's nice. I think most of it was I was pushing marginal hands to aggressively and not striving for pot control like I should have been. I would raise to see where I stood in the hand and before I knew it I was involved for a good portion of my stack. I have just recently read and re-read "Renton's Theorem" and am attempting to apply that more towards my game, as a means to know when to play aggressive and to when to play a little more passive. The one thing I really need to work on (not saying I'm horrible at it, but I just don't understand it as well as I want to) is c-betting the flop. I do it quite often (75% of the time), but don't really understand always why I do it, which isn't good. I guess I'll have to get some HHs up for that.

Moving from sng's was not easy for me, I overvalued my hands and did not bet size well at all (too weak). I'd never heard of pot control either!

If these are your first hands since moving from sng's I don't think you are doing badly at all and your thinking seems to be moving in the right direction.
