I think there is not much I can have done here, I mean not much of a better flop for my hand so guess if I wasn't broke here I could officially quit playing but thought I'd see what others thought in terms of the way it was played, discounting the result.

I do think betting out this flop is much better than check-raising btw.

main reason for the c-r was that UTG+2 had been screwing me over with crappy hands all night and was trying to get him to have fallen in love with his AK (really tight table and he was limping AA, AK, etc)

Having said that though, I'd like to know the reason for leading out here...guess I am only scared about 33 so slowplaying for a c-r may get more out of them (at least in this case where I knew UTG+2 would lead out if checked to).

Can see the reason to not c-r, could give a free card to someone with like 77 or something to get a larger boat, leading out probably makes more sense yeah, specially on a tight table where lots of weird stuff is getting limped.

Yeah, thinking bout it I think I am still trying to get too tricky and slowplay stuff where it isn't guaranteed to be the best hand on the next street. Think I need to try and not slowplay jack for the next 2 weeks unless there is a really, really strong reason to do it.

Knytestorme, you should probably lead this flop and try to get the max out of the deeper opponents. It's a shame if you are beat, but it's really unlikely, especially on the flop. btw just ignore what I wrote in my above post, it's just me wondering why anyone would want to get away from this hand, especially with the eff stacks beind so small. That's all.

This is pretty much a bad beat post. No way you can fold it. I'd prefer to lead the flop but as played isn't horrible, and everything from his bet on is standard.

Also, I'd say leading isn't so much for protection from a 22:1 shot, it's more because an overpair is likely to raise or at least call your lead, and then you can build a bigger pot early on which is the key to ending with a big pot. And leading looks much less like you have a two then check/raising does.

Consenus here is to lead out. Concensus previously in other situations where I have been ahead is to lead out as well.

Seems to me this shows my play is a little passive post-flop with big hands and thus something I need to change. Don't think this is something I would have really seen as a problem without posting hands in here and getting the feedback I have, even if their is an abundance of sarcasm at times

You till see trip deuces and overpairs too often to lay this down. Lead PSB or even overbet, build the pot early, don't slowplay underfulls, if you catch somebody with trips, you don't want them pair their kicker and catch better boat.

Given 50BB stack sizes you have to pay off 33 here.
