    Default deep stack bottom set

Interesting hand. Opp is a little loose preflop but hasn't done anything outrageous. I instantly get all my chips in with this with normal stacks. I've been having trouble making disciplined lay downs lately so even if i was wrong and he had j7 for some odd reason i'm still not unhappy about this.

Why the call of $50 on the flop? I think you need to make a go/no-go decision right there.

I wanted to see what he did on the turn, but you are probably right.

"How dare he raise me, I call!" it's almost a reflex...

I saw 3 sixes so I push. Screw not getting called, I want them to cry and fold and think of how unlucky they are for trying to RAISE ME

was about to reply to that then I saw ur signature =)

about the hand thoug, ya I think u have to make a decicion on the flop, push or fold. that being said I dunno what I would pick, prolly fold.

Why call the turn rereraise if you're not willing to call a bet on the river?

I don't get it. Why do you feel behind here with a set? Rape him.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

i can pretty safely put him on j7, 67, 77, jj. 67 is unlikely because all 4 6's would be used, and not alot of people play bottom two pair this way. I'm not sure if he plays j7 here, so that leaves 77 and jj and just by the way the hand played out i felt he had one of those two.

Toss in a 5% or 10% WTF! factor and it still looks pretty grim for our hero...

    Good read maybe?

I don't trust my read well enough to laydown a set on that board. Maybe he slowplayed an overpair.

I'll pay off a higher set. I don't think you can fold a set on a safe flop profitably without a stone-cold read.

I don't understand calling on the flop and then folding on the turn. The only hand that improves to beat you here would have been QQ.

Quoted for truth. He's gotta take this to the felt or dump it when it's $50 to him on the flop and he's got 1 out if he's behind.
