Desperation Poker

Im tryin to decide what hands to play given "how desperate i am" to play, ie i'll play with worse hands if im on the button, short stacked or there are minimal players.
I know what hands i'll play from ratings -10 to 0 (the usual solid hands tight players play with), would you be able to tell me what hands i should play in other ratings, maybe change the way i rate it too as i might not be weighting these factors correctly.

Desperation rating:

Take 1 away each position I am from button
Add 10 if stack is less than 10bb
Add (8-total players) squared – 1 for 7, 4 for 6, 9 for 5, 16 for 4 ,25 for 3 and 36 for 2.


And also I like only callin pocket pairs below QQ coz theres only a 1 in 8 chance you'll hit.. well would there be any cases that you'd raise with JJ 1010 or 99?

I'm guessing the name might be accurate.

I don't really have a clue what your talking about as far as your "Add 1" rant. I think maybe you are looking for a point system so rate your cards on so you know how to play them and when to play them. Your not gonna find one of those. That's not how it works. The play you make doesn't just depend on your cards, and even then the same cards in difference situations warrant a different action.

Ok.. I think I have the answer.

Each time you think you have a good hand, add 10.
Add 1 point for each position beyond UTG you are in.
Then, if you are holding one of the top 19 hands, add 10 points.
Add 10 more points if one of the top 8 hands.
Then, determine your stack size against all possible villians in the hand (this is harder the earlier your position) and divide to get ratios.
If ratio of stack sizes is less than 1/total of points, shove.

Or just watch the timer tick down and auto-fold because it is too complicated to figure out.

Then add 4 to your blood pressure.

Sorry, I missed step one, which was shotgun a beer before every session and then one every 15th hand.

Poker could be a good drinking game imo.
