You don't want to always pitch AJ type hands b/c you'd be throwing away a lot of value in certain spots. In your example for instance, where there are a couple weak limpers and it's your button. Sure you want a super-premium hand like KK/AA in these spots, but you just have to work with what you've got. Pot it and if you hit top pair you are generally way ahead of their range. You can also often take down the pot unimproved.

You said you havn't seen TT+ in the last 700 hands, well I'm sure the odds of that happening are quite terrible, but you also have to understand that it's such a tiny sample size. You go through cold runs of cards and hot runs of cards, and that goes much deeper then your original starting hand.
