This is bad play because you are getting bad pot odds. If my maths is right on the turn river you are getting odds of 2.6:1 and 2.18:1 when the chances of hitting a 7 are more like 10:1. And the 6s could feasibly give him a flush. Even using implied pot odds calling those bets for the straight cannot be justified. I will be interested to see the result
Well the 3 or a 7 would of giving me the straight, i'm not positive i had the odds to make the call on the turn, but the original plan was to fold if i didn't hit the str8. If he did have a hand, and i hit it, i figured i could stack him. Anyways, I'm mostly concerned with the river and his bet there. Reviewing the hand a few times, I think on paper, this should be a fold from me, but at the time I had a strong feeling he didn't have a pair
