    UTG ($12.75)
    UTG+1 ($2.90)
    MP1 ($10)
    MP2 ($11.05)
    CO ($9.25)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K, Q.

SB checks, Hero bets $1, SB calls $1.

    Turn: ($2.90) T (2 players)

    River: ($8.70) 3 (2 players)

The second had I was just unlucky.. but should I have been betting less?
The first hand.. I put him on overcards, bad play? Was I wrong to attempt a steal here?

.... I love how the hand converter doesn't show what they had...

    First hand, villain had QQ

Second hand, villain had A high flush.

IMO, First hand is played poorly, you say you are trying to up your aggression?...Well first of all, you just call behind on a small flop bet?...If you think you have the best hand raise it up, if he comes back over the top, you know to lay it down. Your hand is very very fragile here on a paired board with flush draws, with that weak ass bet raise it up and find out where you are and to chase out the possible draw....

Second hand I think is fine, raising with all folds in front is good....just got unlucky with the flopped flush, you smelt his slowplaying and saved yourself some cash. I dont see a problem here.

I wonder if overbetting the pot on the 1st hand flop would give you the option of taking down the pot or check/folding if called.

well played with 2nd hand, saved a bit of cash.

opps at this level rarely fire 2 barells into rag flops without a strong hand. They may/maynot 2 barell a heart flush draw with AQs type hands here.

Your play in hand 1 has promise but you'll find too many calling stations with even just ace high at these stakes to make it truely worth the effort imo. When they start checking turns then is your chance to steal.

Ok... I think against a good player my play in hand 1 represents a TON of strength, but perhaps it's not worth it to try these types of plays against players at these stakes? I feel that's what I have the most trouble with lately, is making the cute bluffs where calling stations call to the river and I end up losing big.

Also.. in hand one. If I call the first bet, after the turn I have to act first. Should I bet this? Or c/c? c/r?

On hand 1 there's pretty much no reason to bet the river. What are you trying to accomplishing by betting? 9s, Ts, and flushes are pretty much always calling...maybe occasionally you get an overpair to fold. Any hand you can beat is folding anyway, so you might as well just check behind.

Hand #1 don't bluff these guys unless you know they can fold. Most can't. Plus, if you're trying to rep trips here you would have reraised on the flop generally with that flush draw out there. Definately don't bluff the rivers either. If he likes his hand enough to call you down to the river, he likes it enough to call you beyond it.

It's been a while since I analyzed a hand, but let me take a stab at this. I actually prefer that the hand histories don't tell us what your opponent had, and I made my judgements based solely on your initial post.

In hand #1, you are out of position from the start, and if you are going to play a pair that small only be looking for a set. UTG open raises for 4BB and then continues the betting on every street. You should know that you are behind. I don't like the reraise on the turn, the card is a blank and gives nothing to you or to him and everyone at the table knows this. I suggest reraising the flop if you really want to find out where you are at. If he rereraises, it's an obvious fold, plus your raise offers fold equity.

The second hand isn't played as poorly, however you are only 3 to 1 against any club in the deck and if he has an Ace, then you are only a 2 to 1 favorite. It's going to be a very difficult time getting any fold equity at these stakes here. However, you want people to call when they are behind, in the long run you will be paid off. Don't worry so much on this hand, it happens....
