Did I play this wrong?

Villain is loose aggressive and has been raising my cbets a fair bit. I decided to bet small to encourage him to come over the top of me. Then drop the hammer on him. Did I try and get too fancy or did I just get unlucky with the timing?

If he's laggy and you have seen him make this move before then I see nothing wrong with it, assuming a safe looking board like this.

Bad timing

without any reads i would fold to his flop raise, even though there are probably a decent amount of donks at these tables who will play like that with something like KQ/QJ. There's just better spots.
