what kind of villan?? i would usually reraise preflop.

based on the way it played out i would probably think that the right move is to fold...if he is raising w/ standard utg raising hands you are winning if he raised w/ jj or a-k suited and decided he could push you out w/ a semi-bluff...or a qq split...but otherwise i put him on a set of 10's or kk, aa

No real reads. I don't reraise enough p/f, methinks.

I am pretty sure you are behind too.

A PF reraise would have told you more.

A larger flop raise would have too. He might have seen the minraise as weakness. Make it $24 on the flop, maybe? Do you minraise often?

I think it would have been a lot cheaper for you to substantially reraise preflop. For the $8 you raised post flop, you would have found out exactly where you stood preflop, and seized the initiative for the hand.

I minraised here as a feeler bet. With him throwing out a close to PSB I wanted to see if he'd call or come over the top. If he called I'd expect him to check to me on the turn and then I'd bet, but if he raised and then led, I'd be pretty sure I was beat. But, yeah, my problems started preflop by not reraising.

a little town called none of your goddamn business
I only cold call with monsters preflop when I am sure I will have position (remember thats the same thing I said about the KK hand you posted in my thread).

As played I would raise the flop to 24 and fold to a reraise. As played past the flop, I would fold to the turn bet.

My weaknesses seem to come to light one at a time, but in batches.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. And Tiny Tim, too!

In position, strong hand. UTG may 3bet us in which case we might call or just fold assuming a better and. UTG might call in which case we can probably get away from a trash flop or win a standard pot.
Instead we get into a position where TT-JJ or even worse KK-AA might be playing back at us.
If this was KK i would like this play and it would have played a lot differently anyway. But with QQ+ opps position we need information.
