Difficult turn decision with kk

This was one of the last hands of my session and for some reason the hand history hasnt been saved so apologies in advance for the narrative description of the hand. Also the villain in question was new to the table, but hadnt gotten out of line and was running 23/12 over like 20 hands.

$0.50/$1 - No Limit Hold'em- 2 limpers, i have kk in the sb, i raise to 7, the first ep limper insta calls the other folds. Flop 894 two diamonds, i bet 13 into 16, he quickly called, turn brought the j of spades putting two flush draws out there and the board reading 894j . I bet 28 into 42 on the turn and he almost instantly raised all in, another 49 dollars to call.

The question is whether i should call this or not as the board was extremely drawy and he could easily have a pair and draw combo such as 10j, kj diamonds, aj diamonds etc, though i felt it was far more likely hed limped 88,99,44 in ep and had flopped a set thus having me crushed. Should i call or fold this and also any other comments on my bet sizing and the way id played the hand would be appreciated.

If you are running PT and saving your files to a different directory than the default directory then make sure you have closed PT as it doesn't copy the files until you exit the app.

my question is whats your commitment plan before putting 1/3 of your starting stack in the pot? Actually, your SPR of 5.6 is low enough for you to commit with overpairs against the average players (not very tight guys). Seriously, i'd bet two thirds of the pot on the turn vs passive opponents and c/r all-in vs aggressive ones. You cant just fold to aggression in a big pot after putting half stack in IMO..

yeah i do agree with you but this hand came at an interesting time, where earlier in the session id made a pledge to NOT make crying calls when i felt i was beat. Id done this as not being abe to laydown strong hands when faced with stern opposition is easily my biggest leak. I often find myself timing down to the last 10 secs of my timebank going through hands that i beat (often unlikely draw/pair combos) and shoving it in anyway on the offchance my oppenent doesnt have a set, str8, etc even though my instincts say they do. So this time though so very tempted to call i decided to put my plan into action and actually fold when i felt i was beat. Thus i thought bet/fold was possibly the best line to take on the turn yet maybe i was wrong and shouldve called. My decision was not helped by the fact that i had barely any info on this guy as he was new to the table so it was difficult to put him on a range.
