assuming you are on air, i like this play as a 10-percenter vs players who will raise with a medium-small pp here.

The risk reward kinda blows though, so I'd use this play selectively, and sparingly.

It depends on your read of opponents hand strength...obviously he pushes with a strong but vulnerable hand, smooth calls with an almost unbeatable hand, and folds mid pockets (maybe).

Your 3-bet seems a little on the weak side...if he thinks about it clearly then it looks like you want to keep him around and build the pot to stacking capacity with a monster but if he doesn't think it out he may even call with pockets...in which case you're forced to push the turn or quit the charade.
So then the play also depends on your opponents ability to fold a medium to weak strength hand, on the turn as well...

theres a theorem on 2p2 that when someone 3 bets (not allin) on a drawless paired flop, they are bluffing.

It's fairly easy to put him on 44- JJ, and I thought he would fold all of these hands but TT as I'd been playing very tight previously.
    He actually folded jacks.
