I have a friend that thinks this way. He'll have a very strong 3rd nuts on a live board and fear Quads or a better full house. He'll have KK on an Ace high board, and even after the opponent SCREAMS through their actions and patterns that they don't have the ace, he won't extract proper value from a loose passive player holding second pair Queens jack kicker for fear of the ace no one has. I know there's a better way to explain what I'm saying. I'm just not articulate at this exact moment.
