call preflop for implieds, the guy clearly had a big pair... i think the flush draw weakened him so he wouldnt call at the river.. so the push was a bad move i guess, whats the idea for the river then, should i minraise his bet? I guess I looked very much like i had a flush, the problem being that even a minraise at the river after his bet was going to look like i had a flush. Should i have perhaps raised the flop or turn?
    villain goes AI

    I minraise the flop there.

Maybe he'll push. He'll certainly call with a big pair. But yeah, the flush scared him away. Your flat-call looks like a draw, so your push looks like a flush.

    I agree.

I minraise for value on the flop here. If he has overpair, he aint going anywhere......may even push, especially if he has the Ah.

If you're certain he has overpair, then a raise to about $15 would be about right on the river, I reckon.
    pocket Jacks eh?

There's a 4 card straight and 3 card flush on the board and you check-raise all-in with a set after representing a draw the whole way. This is definitely a losing play.

I'd check-raise on the flop. Why check-call and let a scare card for your opponent fall which cheapens his hand with respect to the board (which is what happened here both on the turn and river), making it harder to get paid off? Plus, he could easily have a hand like A-K of hearts.
