Default Floating AK on undercard flop

Villain is 11/9 with a 100% cbet flop and 40% cbet turn

The undercard flop doesnt hit his range so I decided to float one and take it away on the turn but I hit top pair. How is the call down? I thought he was value betting AK/AQ/AJ which makes up the most of his range

preflop and flop action is not what i take... the flop is pretty bad too, i hate floating there. board is not bad i guess... just weird how u went from "zomg gonna call and make a move on the turn then ... zomg i hit my ace and i'm gonna call for value.

preflop: something about 3betting an 11/9 utg raise doesnt sound right to me

If you are so convinced he is full of shit on the flop - you better also have a solid read he'll double barrel again on either the turn or river (in which case you are snap calling).

Raising flop and betting turn is so much better than your line, assuming you think he's FOS all the time here.

this might be true if he was in MP+ but his utg range is going to have alot of overpairs/sets on this board.

Preflop is fine but flop is a clear fold idk why you think he is fos a lot, you even have blockers to the part of his range that missed this flop. Also pm this board you aren't going to get a lot of credit since there are already some draws in your range and you can't have that many nut hands since you would raise a set
    on the flop.
