I'm not sure about the preflop reraise. As played, I don't like the check-raise. I'd lead on the flop, that way you know if you are beat early on if they call/raise you. A CR just puts more of your money into the pot before you know if you are beaten.

I kinda like it against an opponent who has been playing a lot of hands, raising a lot of marginal (or even junk) hands in position, and whos aggressive postflop.

Theres one reason though I wont make the move myself though - you are out of position, and that can really hurt you when you are playing a big pot where overcards to your TT is likely to fall on the flop.

Leading on the flop and getting called doesnt achieve much in regard to information.
Checkraising aggressive opponent OOP (without the nuts) can be profitable under the right circumstances. Besides opponents bet was really weak so it was an easy reraise on the flop.

    it's a blind defense hand
    checkraises decrease future aggression

it's a good way to play blind defense with stronger holdings

That's what I was thinking. If I bet OOP then get raised by an aggressive guy that can do it with any two I'd have to lay it down even if I may have the best hand. Atleast this way I'm putting the pressure on him.

Depends on the Op I guess. I tried the same thing vs. a similar player later with JJ and he reraised my check/raise and showed me after I folded 62s
