    What is the question?

As played, fine; you got in your money with almost certainly the best hand.

Did BB have AJ? If BB had AA, he's a retard, you're unlucky and that's poker.

Wasn't sure how to phrase the question without hinting about result.

Sure on the flop this is pretty near nuts (AA unlikely as is A5).
But he has outs (A, his kicker and the unlikely runner-runner).

So I want to get money in the pot quickly, with the good chance that it's hard to lay down AAA.

My main question mark is over can I really play this so aggressively and expect to get the money in most often? To re-raise from $1 to $5 seems a lot, and then to push to his re-raise.
Arent' I giving him enough warning? Shouldn't I be a bit more subtle?

Oh and it worked fine this time and it held up.

If you min-raise that's just gay. If you call it looks suspicous. If you raise it looks like you have Ax and want to out him to the test.

I would play this the same way.

The line of thinking is perfect. People forget the bit about Ax catching his kicker (or the turn+river pairing). By pushing to his reraise, you put Ax in an almost impossible situation, especially if they have a decent kicker. Nobody expects a FH here.

Pushing to the reraise might be the most +EV play here as you are very likely to be called by Ax, esp at these stakes.

You would think so huh? However, donks don't like to think about these things; they just see trip aces and get a massive boner... He prob thinks you have A6 or something and his A9 is good; doubtful that a FH even crosses his mind...

I was playing live one time, flop was pretty much the same (AA6) I had 66 and ended up allin on the flop, he flipped over AT, I flipped over 66... he stands up, claps his hands, and says "YEAH BABY!!!!" I confusingly shrug my shoulders hoping to dodge an A or a T and don't say anything at all. When I do dodge those cards he says "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING I HAVE THREE ACES" to the dealer when he shoves the chips my way. Basically, if they have an A, they have the nuts. They are not folding.

    You played this fine.
