I was wondering about this too. He could be saying that his steal range is likely too wide to setmine profitably, and you're not getting to steal many pots oop unless he's bad.
Lately I fold to an LP raise with baby pairs from the blinds, but only if I get less than 20:1...
Just checked HEM for 22-77 in SB and BB with steal attempt... was +EV for 5NL to 25NL, and -EV @ 50NL but I only get 25 hands there... mostly loosing due to failed resteal attempts on the flop. So my DB is simply not big enough.
If someone wants to check - you can't filter for hands and "Steal attempt from SB / BB = true", you have to create a steal situation in the main filter, then it will accept the hand filter.
