Your play on this hand in the long run will prove to be +EV but i would have tried to take the pot down when there were 2 Hs on the board you could have given someone with HH a free flush to take your money with or someone could hit trips with a high pair on the turn/river that's why i like to play my sets fast unless i have a high pair.
Still, there were a lot of hands that had his set beat and his opponent was representing either an outdraw or slow play. If you can reliably, correctly lay this down, you seriously should move up in limits. But slowing down a pretty strong hand in this case might be the best option.
