FLOP - I don't slowplay many hands, but, since in this situation you have top kicker, there's not really much that can beat you, and really not too much that you can be scared about. Only worry you really would have by slow-playing is someone with a pocket pair or 9x making a boat. So, if I'm playing this hand, I'm not worried about taking it down right now, I'm worried about pot building. Having said that, raising pre-flop and then checking is really suspicious, so betting 3 dollars seems like a good play in this situation. I think alot of people would expect someone with a 9 to check this, so the bet on the flop is good.
TURN - The turn brought a 2nd heart, so now you have a tiny bit to worry about, although there's no particular reason to think he might have 2 hearts. Still, I'd try to take it down here. Check-raising here would be perfect. You threw out a weak bet on the flop, then when he called you check on the turn - definitely looks like you are weak. He's probably going to try and take the pot down here, which he did. You then come over the top and he runs away. Maybe other people might just call here to try and make more on the river. Anyone else think I'd be costing myself money playing it this way rather than trying to get him to pay me off more on the river?
RIVER - River bet was too big. I guess it's easy to say that after seeing that he folded, but in this situation I usually bet something on the low end of what I think they might call, forcing their hand by giving them crazy pot odds. Sometimes this also works to make them think you're still weak. Check-raising here is also an option since you check/called on the turn.
