I say its fairly certain there is a QQ, KK, or AA out there, the question is can you get away with calling for sets.

Fold because toughguy is short stacked and he's gonna want to gambOOl preflop and you don't want to be all in with JJ.

Anybody in the mood to push?

I agree, if it weren't for toughguy's short stack, I'd cold call and hope for the set, definitely some good implied odds there. But there's no way you can call anybody's all in with JJ.

yeah the bigger stack has about 10x or his bet left, giving youi proper implied odds. Plus the chance he could have ak and you dominate him when he misses the flop.

the problem here is that toughguy acts after you and he could easily push (which i would expect him to do).

If he was to act before you and just called then I would call and hope to hit a set.

So I believe folding would be the best choice here.

And what if i had QQ or KK?

    KK I push.

QQ I either push or fold. If the avrage player at these tables is looseish then I push. If they're tight I fold. Most likely I'm folding.
