    Default Is this foldable?

I lost a huge pot here. I flopped top set. Opponent was not very imagnative, he was clearly scared -- he took a long while to call my 4-bet and yet he led out turn. Would he have led out unimproved?

I didn't shove flop only because I didn't want to lose him. Was it bad given that I failed to fold even after I was outdrawn?

Your flop raise sucks. This should've all gone in on the flop after he reraises. No, you never fold this.

Do you not think villain gets away from a push 4bet here?

Is this optimal given his play leads us to believe he's on 2 outs?

That said, would putting in $3-4 then $15 be any different? Maybe not, but it might mean we make that little extra if he does fold.

Assume not very imaginative = no QJh. It probably also discounts 55 from that position.

The only thing you can have working for you here is: I don't think an unimaginative player ever leads for $4 into $35 vs an op who 4bet the last street as a blocker.

I am all for losing your stack here.

Lol fold second to nuts v. a precise KK and nothing else? nah. As far as how it's played, yeah seems good to me. You were betting + luring with the nuts, and apparently got a mere overpair to come along. I'd say excellent. Guy spikes a 2 outer, can't complain.

lol there is no way you fold this.

and quit raising like a pussy. your first raise was minimum/almost min? and the last one on the flop should have been a push,

I'm talking about the initial raise:

    Flop: (Pot: $2.85)
    BET p1rado, $1.25
    RAISE BBQSquirrel , $1.50 to $2.75
    RAISE p1rado, $3 to $5.75
    RAISE BBQSquirrel , $10.25 to $16
    CALL p1rado, $10.25
If we're raising here, making it ~$5 makes getting all-in a lot easier if villain repops with his KK.

If you think you're outdrawn you would have to put him on QJ. And if he had QJh you have re-draw outs with the pot odds to call.

Holy frickin crap bearcat and avatar...damnit my college days blew compared to that I mean - two teton smooshed together == totally the shit!

Oh, and - as stated, initial flop reraise sucks - raise 3x - after that if you aren't allin preflop then you aren't gettin away on the luckbox 2-outer on the turn so fergit about it.

Thanks for all the responses. I think the concensus was that my initial flop raise was useless and set me up for this misery. I might have lost the hand regardless of how I played it, but I certainly wouldn't have needed to get down on myself for getting all-in while behind.
