I would have bet that flop if I were him, to test your hand strength if nothing else.

Dunno, I'm more of a limit player myself.

True, kind of a tough one:

Holdem Hi: 990 enumerated boards containing Qs Qc 5c
    cards -- %win -- EV
    Ac Jc -- 50.81 -- 0.510
    7d 7h -- 48.89 -- 0.490

This kind of hand might enhance my understanding of ToP. If you suspect a semi-bluff and ave a hand worth calling, you should raise. The $6 just barely lays correct odds to the flush draw.

The other probable hand with a $6 bet on that flop is obviously a Q:

    cards -- %win -- EV
    Ac Jc -- 25.86 -- 0.259
    Qd 7h -- 74.14 -- 0.741

Note the stark difference in prognosis for AJ, on account of trips boating so much more frequently than 2pair.

Raising Ripp here is (I think) a good defense to the semibluff. A reraise from Ripp would indicate the Q and you could save a few chips.
