Default Fun with KK (not really)

Hand took place at Martins Poker. Villain is 30.95%/8.33% over 84 hands. His style is ordinary... nothing unusual. Villain may actually be one of the better players at this site. All constructive criticism welcomed. Before I say what I think my mistakes were, I would like to hear everyones input. Thanks.

You definetely lost that hand. On the flop I'd minraise the minraise to see if he really has trips. If he calls the flop I'm pretty lost with the hand. If he raises all in i'd fold or fold to any further raise. I don't like this situation, i really don't like your hand.

looks like he has a monster to me .I think he just called the turn in position hoping you would put the rest in on river. Instead of raising the turn I like trying to see a cheap showdown if you are going all the way with this hand. He could be falling in love with his over pair but I dunno. He limped after someone limped so its hard to give him credit for a big pair looks like he has a boat or is really slowplayin aces.

He's a little loose, but I don't think you can scoop that pot.

    I can't put villian on a hand except 4x. I think he raises 99...

His turn play into his river play is perplexing though. Letting you see another card, then betting into you doesn't make sense. I don't play a 4 that way, I reraise the turn. I guess it's better than trying a river C/R, but I think you'd have bet that river too...

Raising his flop min-raise would probably have saved me a lot of money... most likely he would have pushed, then I would have instafolded. I'll have to keep that in mind for future similar situations.

This is one of those hands where I kept telling myself "he's bluffing, he's bluffing!!"... and on the river I made a crying call, knowing I was beat... badly played but another lesson learned. I usually don't get attached to PP's anymore, but this just shows that it still happens every once in a while.

His hand? 64s ... can anyone run a test to see the stats of KK vs 64s?

The flop min-raise is very scary.... blaah

My question for the hand is - what were you trying to accomplish with the turn check/min raise? The only thing you seemed to accomplish there was juicing up the pot and announcing your hand (letting the villian think you would call his AI on the river)...

The turn play dictates everything. With much less in the pot now, your hand becomes *much* easier to muck on the river. With all the money in the pot on the river, I can see you making that crying call and praying to see him show 10-10, JJ or maybe, just maybe A-9 or maybe something horrid like 3-3 or 5-5.... but with less money in the river on the pot + lack of strong reads + deep stacks, your river laydown becomes much easier to make... or, your crying call becomes much cheaper and you develop a nice read
Dealer: bencathers has two pair, Aces and Deuces
Dealer: Tbags has two pair, Kings and Jacks
Dealer: Tbags finished the tournament in 256th place
Tbags [observer]: another scumbag gets there on this site lol
