early at table, no reads on players, but this was too much action to call?

    himself fucker.
Jdrox obviously has a flush draw.

I'm pretty certain 150proof made a set or two pair very frequently here. Small pot, mediocre hand into a limp pot, some respectable aggression. If I don't drop it on the flop, I do dump it on the turn.

Definitely raise that sucker in late position to establish your dominance and plant the seed of fear in them. Even if they call with an A and the ace comes on the flop, they will be concerned about their kicker and you can put a nice sized bet in front for them to consider.

so a good guidline for AJo is only raise in late position (standard 3-5x) and only with a few limpers ?

my issue is having hands that aren't that powerful like AJo but still decent, when you're in SB or BB position, thats the worst spot to play?

    Your play is fine.

Limp with others see if you can make a monster. You got a nice piece but encountered resistence so you dropped it.

Doh, I thought you were in late position. In the small blind it is asking for trouble to raise it. My mistake. If you were on the button, I'd do a 3x or 4x raise to knock out the blinds and potentially fold one of the guys who limped in early position.

However in the small blind, as you are, I would just complete the blind and hopefully flop something and induce a bluff.
