I've been doing a bunch of analysis on hands I've been playing and thought "gee wouldn't it be nice to have a large sample of real money hands." I wonder if there are other players like myself that could use that kind of data.

Here is what I'm thinking...

  • o Put together a program that processes hands from a Party Poker (and other casinos?) hand history. It will strip out information identifying the specific players involved.
o Have an email address where formatted or unformatted hand history can be submitted.
o Keep a database of all submissions
o Have a private discussion forum for contributors.

Then track the amount of hands contributed by each person. A certain number is required for limited data access. A greater number for full data access and access to the forum. Also keep a membership maintenance requirement.

Any thoughts?
