If the minraising master Lefou tells you you shouldn't have minraised on the flop and instead should've shoved, you know that's what you should've done.
As for reading, the stacks are too small to make a good read, since the only real meaningful play is his lead on the flop. Of course he calls your minraise, of course he goes all in on the turn when he / you only have 300 left. Those are basically automatic plays with any hand he has.
