    Default Hand vs thinking player

My opponent in this hand is probably one of the best players at the stakes I play at on a little SportBook site.

    He has around $350
I buy in for $100 and post from EP.

I raise to $4 with AQo
Shark calls, SB folds, BB calls.

~12 in the pot. 3 to the frop.

    AQQ two tone.

I lead $5, Shark makes it $20, all fold to me, I stall about 5 sec and call.

Turn is a blank, $52 in the pot.

    Check, check.

River is an Ace, still $52 in the pot.
    I push...

I think you're paying the rake or taking down the pot with any bet.

I don't think he can really call any bet without the ace.

I push it anyway, just in case.

Given my opponent profile, anyone play the flop or turn differently. Given what I think he thinks of me, in retrospect I like betting out another $5 on the turn...

Yeah a tiny donk bet screams "I probably have an ace.. pleeease don't raise me, let's be friendly here".. At least it does for an unknown. Given that he probably knows you aren't a donk, he might see right through it and not come in over the top even if you try it.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

    Just to review and clairfy.

I posted from EP then made an extremely suspect PFR followed by a weak steal attempt and a somewhat delayed (but not enough to clearly be hollywooding) call. My avatar image is a big slot machine. We've played LHE togther, but not gotten in hands and I doubt he knows much about me. In short, he thinks I'm a typical donk.

He might of just been trying to buy it on the flop and as soon as you called he was finished with the hand.

I can't see him calling your bet on the river without an ace - the way the hand has been played it looks like you had a pair of aces (AK AJ) - You raise preflop bet out on the flop to see if your aces are beat by anyone with a Q - shark raises to say he has a Q and u call - then you check he checks - then another A comes out and you go allin.

I had a similar hand last week I raised with AQ got three callers board came out AQQ - I thought the only way i was going to get payed off was if someone had the queen (KQ) - so i bet the pot and one player raised me - I moved all in and he called with the KQ.

    How about pushing the flop?
