How can I spot my leaks? (In search of help)
Ok, so I am playing 100NL right now and after over 100k hands my win rate is 1.39BB/100 hands. If I continue on my current pace in about 2-3 months I will be bankrolled for 200NL which for me means a bankroll of 8-10k. However, at this point I think that even with a sufficient bankroll it would be a mistake for me to move to 200NL until I can fix some leaks in my game. I feel that much of the profit I get at 100NL comes from seeking tables with maniacs. I usually multi-table (4-7 tables) and always look to play at tables with at least one player who has a VPIP of 35% and try to target these folks. I think it will be tougher to find such players at 200NL and above. Below are some of my own reflections on my play. I am looking for some advice here. Wanted to post my stats but I guess I have to post 10 times before I can do that and this is post number one for me.
Here are some questions I ask myself:
1. What are the best software tools to use for evaluation of turn and river play? I have trouble translating my turn/river aggression factor numbers into identifying my turn and river leaks.
Turn AF=1.8, River AF=2.2
2. Is my pre-flop play in the CO and Button too loose?
Overall, I am 19/12 but on the CO I am 29/23 and on the button I am 33/25.
3. Am I continuation betting the flop too little or too much? (Cbet 43%)
4. Am I not 3-betting enough? (3bet=4%)
5. Am I stealing the blinds too much or too little? Attempt to steal (46%)
6. I know I fold to 3-bets too much (85%) but it just seems at 100NL that I run into too many 12/10s or tighter who don't raise unless they have it and do not pay me off when I play for implied odds and hit so I often fold to 3bets from these types of players. What is a good fold to 3-bet%?
7. Do I fold to flop c-bets too much? Fold to flop Cbet=54%
