Default How did I play KK here?

    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed)

    CO ($50)
    Button ($35.95)
    SB ($29.10)
    Hero ($25.10)
    UTG ($26.65)
    UTG+1 ($24.60)
    MP1 ($46.90)
    MP2 ($44.95)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K, K.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.25, 2 folds, CO calls $0.25, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero raises to $1.5, UTG+1 calls $1.25, CO calls $1.25, SB folds.

    Flop: ($5) 3, T, K (3 players)
Hero bets $1.5, UTG+1 calls $1.50, CO folds.

small bet here. But enough I think to be a weak cbet. I want at least one caller.

    Turn: ($8) 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.5, UTG+1 raises to $4, Hero calls $2.50.

Based on how weak I look with my bet and this player I am sure this is a bluff. If I raise he folds, so I just call.

    River: ($16) 2 (2 players)
    Hero bets $8, UTG+1 folds.

This is where, given my line, I maybe could of made some more with a smaller bet. What do you think?
    Final Pot: $16

Since you're not really repping a big hand betting 1/5 then 1/8 pot, I think villain's turn raise is a semi-bluff like QJ so often I don't think there's any value in betting the river here and you're probably better off checking to induce a bluff. If he checks behind he probably wouldn't have called a bet anyways.

I think you played this poorly. At least a 3/4 pot on flop.

Awful. If you are going to bet that small on flop you may as well check it to him. He'll probably put more money in the pot than you are betting anyway. Turn wtf? River, by this point I just don't know.

Guys, I'm brand new here so I don't have an opinion on how this was played, but am I wrong to think that this is a spot to try to stack your opponent. The board looked safe enough to me. Maybe break up the stack into 3 so you get it all in on the river and hope he has 2pair or lower set? I dunno, that at least what I would do.

preflops fine, bet $3.5 on flop, then if that is done and your bet called either lead for $8 on turn or check to induce a bet (villain dependent, i.e. if hes not agro just keep betting). If you take the first line and are then called just shove the river as you only have a pot sized bet left. 2nd line i wouldnt recommend and id only use against aggresive/semi decent oppenents who arnt simply calling stations. If you take this line i really dont mind a pussy bet on turn or a check, and if he raises just flat and with the river bricking definitely check to induce a bluff as thats what his range is mainly made up of by this point. However as i mentioned previously id take that 2nd line rarely as its definitely not as optimal as the first.

    himself fucker.
    preflop is good.

flop is half-bad. You bet, so yay! You bet and showed some weakness, so i guess that's cool. I know what you're thinking. "Top set means no one calls!"

turn is frowny face. What are you planning on? a check-raise on the river?

What were you planning on? clearly not a check raise of the river. I mean... what could the opponent possibly have to stack off to you here?

Basically yah, from the other point of view, we're probably bluffing this turn a lot... but why lead the river? If he's throwing money around the worst he can do is check behind. You bet because you hope he may have possibly been raising the turn for value or his the magical 3rd 2. But you should def not be leading this river strong. Because now you let him just call behind with A2 and prevent him from giving the bluff another go.

then put in 4/5 of the pot as a "c-bet" when it's really a value bet
