I knew I was pushing it by giving a chance for someone else to have a straight, and I didn't think that someone would have QQ. I felt that I had enough outs to be in command of the hand. What do you guys think? Oh by the way, I'm new to the boards!

Like you said you were pushing in and got lucky. The raise and reraise after the flop just screamed that someone had the straight. Essentially, you called with second best hand, which is exactly the situation to be avoided in NL.

It is tough to lay down that hand but the betting should have told you that you were beat. In terms of pot odds you hand about a 1 in 4 chance in improving the had but were only getting 3 to 1 on the pot. In the long run you lose money with that call. But what the hell, it was a winner this time.

Yea. A little iffy jumping in after the re-raise. Glad it worked out for ya.

Was that at Paradise? I think I've seen you over there at a couple tables.

Looks like Paradise because it is a $10 NL table. I'm not sure of any other sites with $10NL.
