On the other hand, you show weakness on the turn by check-calling. He probably doesn't put you on 45s, so he's thinking that you have a scared overpair: queens or something like that. In that case, he's pushing with crap.

He could have just been continuation betting, and then sensed weakness on the turn, prompting the river all in raise.
