You're playing two pair on a coordinated board way too slow. This flop is just too dangerous to let anyone see a relatively cheap turn. Hell , on any flop I play it fast, especially with bottom two. Two pair on the flop is typically a strong hand, but never the nuts. With bottom two you have the additional worry of being conterfeited. I wouldn't even play a set this slow on a flop this scary. Raising not only serves to put more money in the pot, but also helps define your hand. I don't feel you were betting enough to define your hand or your opponents.

If it was me I would definately bet the pot on the flop. I'm not a big fan of overbetting unless you want to give the impression of bluffing when your not, but I might even slightly overbet the pot here. When the action came back to you on the flop and you knew you would be HU I would probably push. Unless another ace came on the turn I know I would likely be betting enough to commit him to the hand anyways. I also know that if I bet a significant amount on the turn that the range of hands that are calling have a good chance of being ahead and that if I am re-raised then I'm pretty much committed to calling myself. I'd rather put all my money in on the flop when he hasn't had that chance to see another card. If I happen to be beat on the flop then I'm most likely still going to be beat on the turn. If that happens, oh well. If his stack was deeper though then I would play it more cautiously.

Pot the flop. There is no reason to do anything else when you're not covering for lots of naked c-bet bluffs. No one had the initative and you mean buisness.

I play for stacks on this flop against a 50bb deep opponent. If he raises me, he better have a hands that beats bottom 2 because all of the money is going in. Too many worse hands give you action on this board given what we know about this guy.

With more money behind, I want to play a turn here.

Another option for this is to check the flop for information, then make a move on a safe turn and dump to any ugly card. You probably will draw something stupid like a $1 or $2 flop bet anyway...

I think I might be pushing on the flop to the reraise.

...and at this level they should know enough to put you on an obvious draw.

However, it's a nothing massivly multi-way pot. Game texture and mood heavily influences how I play this. Do you like playing marginal $200 pots when all of the money goes in on the flop?

    jesus.

7 people to a a coordinated board. Theres no way you can slowplay this, but i dont think the draws are the only reason. With 7 people to that flop, bottom 2 isnt always going to be ahead. find out if it is. If someone (with a fairly big stack) starts getting really aggressive you may have to fold. Dont fold this to the smaller stacks at the table whatever though.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

I know for a fact I misplayed this hand brutally... mainly because I was still in LHE mode while shooting the breeze in NLHE. Looking back on this one, I did misplay the flop with the 1/2 bet and the 2x raise. I really should've potted twice over on this one. I cried as A4o was turned over

Yeah, I either want all the money or very little money in on this flop.
