I hate full ring...what's the standard play here?

1 fold, Hero raises to $22, MP1 calls $22, 2 folds, CO (poster) calls $16, Button calls $22, 2 folds.

Flop: ($97) 2, 4, 7 (4 players)

All three of the cold-callers are pretty big donks (which is why I'm taking a shot at 3-6 NL). Do I bet and call a shove from one of the shorties, shut down unimproved if the big stack calls? That's what I'd do 100% of the time at 6-max but I'm not sure if it's correct at full ring.

how about checking to see the action before you decide to make a move?
Id let mp1 and CO take a shot at it and hope the button doesnt isolate but he has to be careful of doing that without a monster because of your flop check IMO.
Saying that, poting it and watching a shorty push, which is good for us IMO will put the button in a position where he has to tip his hand strength to you making the flop decision more easy.
If the shortys are donkish surely they love to push this flop if they have any piece or even nothing for that matter?

There's still no value here. If they're really really bad I limp this hand preflop, call any raise and go nuts if i hit my set, or let them go nuts if they're aggroclowns.

As played, meh. probably best to pot it and evaluate from there. Edit, actually a check works too if they have that transparent of betting patterns.

I lean towards potting it normally, but I can see the value of the check if you can be sure to get some action going from the donks.

Not sure what you do if they check to the button who bets.

i'm leaning towards betting the flop as well.

PS - how do you just magically "find" donks who are up a level?
