I Need Enlightenment

Ok guys I want your opinion on how you'd play these hands. I got 2 monster hands (then a good pocket pair) and screwed em both so bad I only got like 5-6 bucks on both. They were one right after another - full house - then quads - then pocket jacks(didnt make powerhouse post flop). And like I said - all these are one right after another.


Ok in this one - patthus limped in on a whole bunch of shit and would always raise like 3-5 dollars right after the flop and bought it like every time. That is the reason for my check raise. Man I was so pissed. Flop nuts and don't even get anything. I was sure he was gonna raise. So how would u play this after the turn with no flop action??

k on this one I'm not really all that sure what I'd do different. Should I have raised his first 2 dollar bet. Should I not have raised his $1. Never expected to hit quads but it was a sweat ass suprise.

K for this hand I think I messed up in the fact that I didnt raise enough preflop. How much do you guys raise preflop with jacks. I was thinking like 2-4 but pussed out thinking that I just had 2 monster hands in a row. There is no way Im gonna flop 3 of a kind. Then I proceeded to look at that overcard caculator and saw there was a 75% chance and overcard would fall by the end. I didnt really like those odds after getting 2 monsters. Anyway - what would you guys do? Thanks for all the help. And one more question - How often have you guys made Quads. It just stunned me. Is it like 1:5000 or what exactly. I can't remember exactly how to figure that.

Hand #1:
Not bad. I can't beleive the queens didn't pay you off! 50c was probably too cheap on the turn, I like to bet $1 minimum unless I'm playing a mind game with someone heads up. Maybe you could have thrown out a pot sized bet on the river to look like you're buying out the pot and see if you can catch someone playing traffic cop? Any read on the players? Passive call-stations?

Hand #2
I'm thinking bigger raise on the turn, ~$3 at least. The weak bet just reeks of someone drawing that doesn't want to be bet into. If he's drawing, no way he's going to pay you off on the river.

Hand #3
Either limp in with Jacks or raise it up bigger pre-flop. Raising to only $1 did almost nothing for you. Should have gone with $2-$3. If you take it down pre-flop it's not a bad take for a pair of Jacks.
