Default I think I played it correctly...

Was at a $1/2NL home game last night.
(Sorry if I don't abbreviate some of this stuff)

Me: Dealt AK off on the bb
4-5 limpers before it gets back to me. I raise to $15 straight,
which was a little higher than most of the pre-flop raises.
(Avg'd btwn. $6 - 12 mostly). All folds and one call in the seat
before the button. Flop comes 3s Kh 8s. I bet out $30, guy who
had sat down about five minutes prior (seemed like he was still
getting comfortable) comes over the top, for the rest of my $25ish
stack. At this point committed. He shows Kd 8d. Turn, 10c. River,
    9c.

I was pretty upset and felt really unlucky. I just don't think his
call for $15 with K/8 suited was justifiable..maybe I'm crying, but
would you guys have played it any differently???

no, you play just fine. the stacks are pretty small, so he could be doing this with lots of hands.

he made a bad call and got lucky

That's exactly what I though. Bad call, lucky flop on his end.

You bet approximately 20% of your stack preflop, you were definitely pot committed if you picked up either your A or K.

Well eventually I was...but I wanted to make it well worth it for someone to like their hand enough to call that raise. I was on the BB, plus there were about 5 limpers trying to come in. I wasn't going to make it cheap for them. Just got unlucky on the flop.
