Default I think i should have called this river...

Edit: This was horrible. I was out of position with 0 reads. He sat down 8 or so hands before.

    1) Should i fold the turn?
    2) Should i call the river?

Good time to check the flop.
    Check/fold the turn.

Why check the flop? Why not try to win a small pot there?

I do like the check / fold line on the turn though. a 9 will have a hard time betting out there.

I expect all sorts of hands to bet after we check the turn.

Betting the flop and checking the turn isn't a great way to showdown nor prevent difficult decisions. Getting aggro with marginal holdings that might be best, out of position on early streets often leads to marginal hands out of position on later streets with a big pot. Particually since a lot of players don't know how to bet...

KKx may not be too scary, the A on turn is?

For what it's worth, I usually check this flop and see what the button wants to do.

If everyone passes to me on the turn, I would bet repping all sorts of stuff and hope the button folds.

Check and see what he wants to do. With any luck he'll make a stupid small bet and I'll probably look him up.

In any reguards, this isn't a spot where I want to go to war nor do I really need to c-bet here. If I'm going to make a mistake it's going to be folding the best hand (with very little chance of improvement) in a medium-small pot or calling a small bet.
