If you don't want to play bloated pot OOP, then don't triple the potsize by 3betting. If you were on CO or button and had some knowledge about MP's opening range, then it's different (and huge EV) situation. In SB with only one player yet to act, you can just call, and if you get it to heads-up (BB will fold his hand like 80% of the time)- take away "preflop raiser's initiative" on good or fair flop by strong lead. If he's fairly straightforward (like most 25NL regulars) , he'll tell you "i think my AA/QQ is good" story right away on flop.

Save those 3bets for annoying lagtards, when you are OOP (then play it for stacks on good flop) or do it in position, when you have much more info and control over pot escalation.
