Default JJ Overpair, confused at turn check min raise

I think this was a terrible terrible terrible fold upon review. If we call turn, are we calling a river bet? A half pot bet? A shove?

Villain is 35/10/5.5 over 38 hands

I think your fold is not as bad as you might think. He's repping very little and I can see this being some rediculous slowplayed KK/AA or just a set. He can't expect you to fold to a turn minraise, and this line is usually not a bluff. He probably thinks he has the best hand, or is 'seeing where he is at'.

Anyway, I call in this spot and see what he does on the river -- sizing and timing will help me decide what to do.

he probably got you beat but i'd still call his turn minraise and any reasonable river bet. Sometimes i can see a fold against very loose passive players over a large sample size of hands.

    there's a huge difference between a c/minraise and a minbet

I hate these spots. I don't mind a fold actually.

looks like he's trying to build a sneaky pot.

    sigh, fold.

I thought limp/calls at full ring were pretty much always pocket pairs hoping to flop a set and get paid? As BluffCheck just said, c/c c/r is the most common line they take, isn't it?
