    I tend to go bigger when raising out-of-postion to make up for my position disadvantage. For balance I hammer a funny range of hands out of there, looking to take it down pre-flop or on the flop.

    I think you should raise to at least 5bb pre-flop. Otherwise I think you played it fine.
